This sampler was inspired by an antique I own; the misty blues on the original sampler stole my heart, but for the inspired design, I bumped up the intensity and really loved the contrast with the browns and greens and golds.

Threads used: Classic Colorworks in Nature Trail, Blackbird, and Hickory Sticks; Weeks Dye Works in Ocean, Capri, 1173 Gray (still listed as Confederate Gray on the chart key), Parchment, Caper, Gold, Collards, and Driftwood; DMC in 420, 677, 680, 803, 830, 3799, and B5200.
