Plum Street Samplers ~ Heritage Sampler
Paulette designed this sampler as a way to honor our American flag and its history. It wasn't always the 50-star flag you see today, and this sampler walks the stitcher through the general evolution, if you will, of the flag. Beginning with the British Union Flag of the colonies and working through to our current flag, this sampler also includes half of the third stanza from the song America the Beautiful (which I find to be the most beautiful of lyrics!), to be worked over one thread.
