Part 4 of 5 - This chart is the section on Blue Spruce Linen.
Visit To Town features a lady and a gentleman, elegantly dressed in colonial fashion, who have made the trip to a main city. The stately houses of the town center each feature a different style as if they were competing with each other to be the most attractive. Barbara Ana plays with color to depict the individuality and specific character of each of the buildings. There is an incredible amount of detail fitted into the design which makes it particularly interesting to stitch. Each piece is stitched separately on a different color of linen from Zweigart. The same embroidery floss colors are used for all 5 parts. Stitch count for Part 4 is 195 x 46.
There will be more to come, a scene in the prairie, a walk in the wood, a trip to town, and last but not least, the voyage at sea. Each new part will be released monthly so you can stitch a piece at a time and assemble the parts as shown in the framed picture.
